As if the general depression and the lamentable state of the currency question were not in themselves sufficient cause for disquietude, Ouevahi, for the last few weeks, has been in the grip of the influenza epidemic (eaye the Northern Advocate). Almost every third person is either convalescing from or is down with the disorder. A while ago it was measles, and many, recovering from that complaint, consider it is a harsh fate that now knocks them out with influenza.
