THE “NEW REVEILLE”

The final arrangements for the opening of the “ New Reveille ” at His Majesty s Theatre to-morrow evening are now being made. Yesterday carpenters, electricians, flymen, and mechanics were engaged hanging 27 back cloths and arranging electrical effects and properties. There are 260 professionally-trained performers in the production, and over 500 different costumes will be worn at the opening performance. Mr B. Ottrey, Mr H. Bain, Miss Margaret Murray, Miss Daphne Murdoch, Miss A. Winkel, Miss K. Bond, Miss Tui Salt, Miss P. Marshall, and Joyce Smith will be some of the soloists, and they will be supported by different choruses or special ballets, A glance at the display of photographs in the D.1.C., Arthur Barnett’s, and D.S.A., South Dunedin, will show 30 of the chorus and ballet numbers. The soloists will wear some original and distinctive creations. The box plana are now open at the D.I.C.
