ANNUAL MEETING' OF ASSOCIA- * ’ TION.

WELLINGTON, September 20.

Delegates from all parts of the Dominion were present at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Motor Trade Association (Inc.) which was held in Wellington to-day. The'business meeting was taken in committee.

The election of officers resulted as follows: —President, Mr H. E. Avery (Wellington); vice-presidents, Messrs W. Grieve (Invercargill) and E. W. Merewether (Wanganui); treasurer, Mr J. F. Cousins (Wellington); council— Messrs J. Seabrook (Auckland), W. B. Pomeroy (Hamilton), G. A. Nicholls (Gisborne), G. Hughan (Carterton), R. Mortlock (Hawera), E. W. Merewether (Wanganui), R. Wallace (To Aroha), C. Scott (Nelson), F. J. Smallbone (Ashburton), H. J. Jenkins (Oamaru), James Black (Dunedin), A. E. Bath (Invercargill) ; executive —Messrs H. E. Avery (Wellington), F. B. Cadman (Auckland), E. J. M. Ferguson (New Plymouth), E. W. Merewether (Wanganui), W. Grieve (Invercargill) and H. J. Jenkins (Oamaru).
