THE “NEW REVEILLE”

Dunedin’s big production by 260 per formers, a musical extravaganza produced by Mr W. Lints for the Plunket Society, promises to eclipse anything of its kind yet staged in Dunedin. Mr Lints considers that the “New Reveille” is nwre spectacular, more costly, and more varied than the 1919 reveille which drew crowded houses for a season of 16 nights. A wealth of talent will be seen in action. The first performance will include 31 different attractions, in which 68 performers will be seen in ballet work. There will be dazzling ensembles, 19 songs, choruses, musical comedy numbers, clever sketches, tap dancing, acrobatic novelties, Dutch, Hawaiian, Indian, cabaret, jazz, and futuristic scenes. More than 500 different costumes will be worn. In short, the first performance cannot be better explained than two hours forty minutes of animated joy. The whole will be supported by a special orchestra under the direction of Mr A. Frost. The box plans are now open at the D.I.C.
