A moderate south-west wind and wet weather prevailed in Dunedin yesterday, showers falling during the greater part of the forenoon, with an occasional licht fall in the afternoon. The conditions were cold, the maximum temperature being 44 degrees. The barometer had a rising tendency, and registered 30.10 last evening. REPORTS FROM NORTHERN CENTRES. (Special to Daily Vimes.) AUCKLAND, September 13. A moderate northerly wind and changeable weather prevailed to-day. Sunny conditions in the morning were followed in the afternoon by continuous rain. The barometer is very unsteady, and now registers 29.60. WELLINGTON. September 13. The weather in Wellington to-day was dull and overcast. Scattered showers fell in the suburbs on the higher levels. The wind was a cool southerly. CHRISTCHURCH, September 13. The weather to-day was wet, 20 points of rain falling between midnight and 5 p.m. The barometer rose from 29.66 to 29.80. The wind this evening is fresh from the south-west.
