BOWLING
SYSTEM OF PLAY IN PAIRS. (Pei: United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, September 13. An endeavour was made at a meeting to persuade the Wellington Bowling Centre to reverse its decision to play the centre pairs’ championship with three bowls per player and return to the old system of four bowls. The discussion ended in the threebowl game being retained by a substantial majority.
