GREEN ISLAND CLUB The annual meeting of the Green Island Cricket Club was held on Tuesday, the president (Mr A. Harraway) presiding over a large attendance of members. In moving the adoption of the annual report and balance sheet the chairman congratulated the club on its fine performance for. the season and also on its good financial position and wished the club the best of success during the coming season. The following office-bearers were elected: —Patron, the Mayor (Mr W. O. Smellie): president, Mr A. Harraway; vice-presidents—Messrs J. B. Orr, W. Morland, M. Harraway. G. Harraway, E. Bezett, Dr Edie, D. Reid, T. Tomkins, J. Wilkie, and R. Umbers; secretary and treasurer, Mr A. Lindsay; committee- 1 - Messrs A. Berry, E. Bezett, J. Grant, A. Grant. W. Miller, R. Christianson, T. Samson, C. M'Mullnn, and D. M’Donald; club captain, Mr A. Berry. The opening day was fixed for September 30.
