FARMER FOUND DEAD

SHOTGUN BESIDE BODY. (Pek United Press Association.) NAPIER, September 13. The body of John Bennett, aged,-27, a well-known sheep farmer, of the Eskdale district, was found in a cottage on the Napier-Taupo road, about eight miles from Bay view, this morning. The top of the deceased’s head had been blown off, and a shotgun was lying across the body.
