WAINUI FROM MELBOURNE. The Union Company's Intercolonial steamer Walnul arrived at Dunedin yesterday morning from Melbourne, via Bluff, and was berthed at the Birch street wharf to discharge general cargo. The freight Included transhipments ex the Remo, Cathay, Morcton Bay, Orama, Talleyrand, Thermopylae Mundalla and Karoola. The Walnul sailed yesterday afternoon for Lyttelton and Wellington to complete discharge. She will leave Wellington on Friday for Bluff and Melbourne. REMUERA LEAVES PANAMA. Advice received by the New Zealand Shipping Company states that the Remuera, en route from London to Auckland and Wellington, left Panama on September 9. The vessel la due at Auckland on September SO. THE CANADIAN CHALLENGER. Canadian National Steamships advise that the Canadian Challenger, which left Wellington on July 11 for New York, Boston, and Montreal, reached Montreal on September S. PASSENGERS BY THE MONTEREY. The Storm Is expected to arrive this morning from Wellington. She Iwill sail this evening for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui, via ports. To complete Homeward loading, the Shaw, Savlll liner Mataroa arrived at Wellington on Sunday morning from Lyttelton. She Is scheduled to clear Wellington finally at daybreak on September 16 for Southampton and London, via the Panama canal. The American steamer Golden Bear,, which left Los Angeles on September 1, is due at Auckland on September 27. She will later proceed to Wellington and Australia, to discharge general cargo. THE LIGHTHOUSE STEAMER. The Government steamer Matal is due at Dunedin on Friday morning from northern lighthouses. She will load stores and sail on Monday for southern and West Coast lighthouses. WANGANELLA’S ITINERARY. Messrs Neill and Co. advise that the Huddart, Parker Company’s motor ship Wanganelia will leave Wellington on Tuesday evening, September 26, for Sydney, instead of Thursday, September 28. The alteration In the sailing date has been made for the convenience of passengers who wish to reach Sydney on September 30.
