GOOD TEMPLARY

The ' weekly meeting of the Rescue Lodge, No. 105, was held in the Oddfellows’ Hall, C.T. Bro. W. A. lies presiding over a good attendance of members and visitors. A report was submitted showing that the juvenile templars were still carrying on good work. The Anniversary Committee’s report was also to hand, showing satisfactory results for the work entailed. Members reported on the sixtieth anniversary celebrations of the All Nations Lodge. The programme for the evening was supplied by the members of the Hope of Dunedin Lodge as follows: —Solos —Sis. E. Stoedman and Sis. M. Dougal, Bros. E. Brooks and B. lies; reading, Bro. Thomson; dialogue — Sisters Beath and Gain. The Hope of Caversham Lodge, No. 1215, held its weekly session in Baxter Hall, when C.T. Bro. I. Giles presided over a fair attendance of members and visitors. Sis. Paul reported favourably on the Everhopeful Juvenile Temple. During the session one candidate was initiated and welcomed into the Order. The programme for the evening, “ Temperance Night,” in the hands of Bro. Hilton, proved both interesting and instructive. The Star of the South Juvenile Temple, No. 15, held its weekly meeting in the Oddfellows’ Hall. Chief Templar Bro. S. Smith presided over a fair number of members, and Superintendent Bro, J. Hilton was in charge. Practice was held for the ritual competition. _ . The Hope.of Dunedin Lodge, T\o. 100, held its session in Wilson’s Hall, Sis. Steedman, chief templar, presiding oyer a good attendance of members and visitors. The district chief templar, with his officers, who were paying the lodge a visit, were received. A good report on the special degree session of the Grand Lodge was submitted, nine members of the Dunedin district having taken the advanced degree. The visit of the lodge to the Rescue Lodge, No. 105, was also reported on. A short programme was offered, the following contributing items: Sis. Wright, jun., Bro. Rowe, Sis, Gain, Bro. lies, and Sis. Donaldson.
