CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER
SEQUEL TO MOTOR FATAUTY (Per United Press Association.) WHANGAREI, September 12. Consequent on fatal injuries received by Mrs Eunice Emily Mary Gordon, a passenger in a car which .collided with a train on the Kamo road level crossing on August' 2 a verdict was returned that her subsequent death in hospital was. due to a fracture of the skull and laceration of the brain. The car driver, Warwick Iluysdael • Claris, a-farmer,-of Mama Ja brother of the deceased)* was to-aay charged with manslaughter in that, by negligent he caused the death of "Mrs Gordon. He pleaded hot guilty, and was committed for trial at the Supreme Court in Auckland. Bail was fixed at £IOO. . / , '
