OSWALD BEATS PEREIRA. (Per United Press Association.) GISBORNE, September 1. Hank Oswald beat Pereira to-night by two falls to one in a contest in which flying tackles and bunts were the principal features. Three minutes after the fourth round opened Oswald secured a submission fall with a Japanese leglock. Pereira evened in the sixth round with a fall by means of flying tackles and a flying body scissors. The seventh round saw Pereira open with a strong attack, but Oswald met this by ducking beneath n flying tackle and practically back' slamming Pereira to complete the deciding fall with a body press.
