Having discharged a part cargo of phosphates at the liaveusbouine wharf, the motor ship Alynhatik sailed yesterday morning for Ocean Island. The Waimarino, which arrived here on Saturday morning from Bluff, sailed later for Oamaru, Tlmaru, Lyttelton. Wellington, Plcton and Auckland.

The Poolta Is now due at Dunedin this morning from Wellington to discharge and load general cargo. She Is timed to sail to-morrow for Wellington, Napier and Gisborne, Tla ports. The coastal steamer Totara was removed from the small dock at Port Chalmers on Saturday. She will come to Dunedin on Wednesday to load for Wellington and New Plymouth. The Holmdale Is now due at Dunedin on Wednesday from Wellington to discharge and load general cargo. She Is timed to sail on Wednesday evening for Wellington, Plcton and Wanganui, via ports. The Calm, which has been delayed at Plcton owing to heavy rain, Is now duo at Dunedin on Wednesday. She is timed to sail on Wednesday evening for Wellington, Plcton and Wanganui, via ports. The motor vessel Holmglen has been fixed to load at Dunedin on Friday for Wanganui, New Plymouth, and Port Waikato. The P. and 0. liner Narkunda arrived at Fremantle on August 1 from London. She Is due at Sydney on August 12. The Matson liner Slontercy cleared Suva on August 1 In continuation of her voyage from Auckland to Los Angeles. She Is due at Los Angeles on August 12. The tanker Sagona, with bulk motor spirit for the Gilmore Oil Company, Is due at Auckland to-morrow from San Francisco and at Wellington on August 11. The Union Company has received advice that the Kartlgl, from Edithburg, cleared Adelaida on July 31, and was to leave Melbourne on August 2 for Auckland, Napier and Wellington. CANADIAN CONSTRUCTOR IN PORT. The Canadian National steamer Canadian Constructor arrived at Dunedin on Saturday afternoon from Montreal, via Australian and northern ports. She was berthed at the Victoria wharf to discharge Canadian cargo and load products. The vessel Is to sail to-day for Bluff to complete loading for New York, Boston and Montreal. ZBALANDIC FROM LIVERPOOL. The National, Mortgage and Agency Company advises that the Shaw, Savlll motor ship Zealandic was to leave Wellington on Saturday for Lyttelton and Dunedin to continue discharging general cargo from Liverpool. She Is due here on Wednesday and will sail about Thursday for Bluff to complete discharge. From Bluff the Zealandic will go to Australia to load for England. RARANGA TO LOAD. The Shaw. Savlll steamer Raranga Is due at Gisborne about August 12 from London, via Australia, to commence Homeward loading. The vessel Is expected at Port Chalmers on August 19 to continue loading. ROTORUA LEAVES CARACAS BAT. Advice received by the Now Zealand Shipping Company states that the Rotorua, en route from New Zealand to London, sailed from Caracas Bay (South America) on August 1. The vessel left Wellington on July T. MAHANA FROM LONDON. The Shaw, Savlll Company’s Mahana, from London to Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and Bluff, was expected to arrive at Lyttelton yesterday. Captain J. M. Cameron retains command of the vessel. • AUXILIARY SCHOONER HUIA. The Nobel auxiliary schooner Hula reached Melbourne on July 31 from Fremantle. The vessel was expected to sail on Saturday for Greymouth, Westport, Dunedin, Wellington, and Auckland. CANADIAN VICTOR LEAVES MONTREAL. Advice has been received that the Canadian Victor left Montreal on July 27 for Auckland, Wellington and Australia. She is due at Auckland on September 6. WAIKAWA DELAYED. The Union Company advises that the Walkawa, en route from Los Angeles via the Cook Islands, Is now due at Auckland to-morrow. She will later proceed to Wellington. Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australia to complete discharge of her Pacific coast cargo, and Is now due at this port on August 16. PORT FREMANTLE LEAVES BALBOA. The C. and D. Line has received cable advice that the motor ship Port Fremantle, en route from New York to Auckland and Wellington, cleared Balboa on the morning of August 1. She la due at Auckland on August 21. SCRAP METAL FOR JAPAN. The steamer Asaraa Maru Is due at Lyttelton early next month to load scrap metal for Japan. She will complete at Wellington and Auckland. A further vessel to take Iron to Japan Is expected In New Zealand towards the end of the year. KANNA FROM WALPOLE ISLAND. The Union Company’s steamer Kanna arrived In the Lower Harbour early on Saturday morning from W'alpole Island, via Noumea, after a rough voyage. She was granted pratique by the port health officer, and berthed at the Birch street wharf shortly after 8 a.ra. to discharge a part cargo of guano. The Kanna left Walpole Island on July 25, and called at Noumea on July 26 to land 64 natives and obtain her clearance papers. She left Noumea the same day, and encountered north-easterly and southwesterly gales throughout the voyage. The shin’s progress was delayed by the bad weather. The Kanna Is expected to sail for Timaru and Lyttelton to complete discharge. Captain W. H. D. Gardner Is In command of the Kanna.
