STRASBOURG STRIKERS

CLASH WITH POLICE A LARGE NUMBER WOUNDED. LONDON, August 4. (Received August 5, at 1.15 a.m.) A general strike in Strasbourg led to wild rioting. The strikers extinguished lights, erected barricades, held up motors and pedestrians, and attacked the police with knives and other weapons, wounding 20 of them. .The police retaliated with rifle fire, wounding 50. Several were arrested, including Germans armed witli knives and knuckledusters.
