A wife’s right to one night out in a week for a friendly game of bridge has been upheld by Judge Vivian Frank Gable in the Domestic Relations Court, at Philadelphia. Mrs Mary Ciampitti, aged 44, the mother of nine children, *me of them grown daughters, who. with her, are members of a bridge club, sought support from her estranged husband. “ Everything went well at home until my wife joined this women’s club,” the defendant said. “ She sometimes didn’t get home until 3 a.m.” “ A married woman has a right to some recreation, provided it is of the proper sort,” Judge Gable said. “ I see nothing wrong with a bridge club one night a No order was imposed, the judge saying that he would try to persuade the couple to patch up their differences.
