IMPORTS AND EXPORTS
JUNE RETURNS FOR BRITAIN
LONDON, July 12. The Board of Trade return for June shows:—•
Imports, £53,774,000; exports, £28,405,000; re-exports, £5,206,000. Principal decreases: Imports—Grain and flour, £577,000; moat, £1,022,000; animals (living), £645,000; other food and drink, £2,569,000; wood and timber, £817,000; ’wool, £264,000. Exports—Goal, £340,000; cotton, yarns manufacture's, £822^000; vehicles, £693,000. Increases: Imports Haw cotton, £1166 000; non-ferrous metals manufactures, £649,000; exports—wool, £276.000; non-ferrous metals, £793,000. SHARP RISE IN RE-EXPORTS. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, July 12. (Received July 13, at 5.5 p.m.) A feature of the British trade returns for June is the sharp rise in re-exports. The total imports amounted to £5.3 774,029, representing a decrease of; £4 170,533, and the total exports at £33,732,009 show a decrease of £1,257,705 on the previous month. Re-exports at £5 206,857 show an increase of £1,440,847 on' the figures for May and more than £1,000,000 on June of last year.
