Big came fishing at Cape Brett in the season recently closed was exceptionally good, according to the annual report of the Bav of Islands Swordfish and Make Shark Club. The report adds that, although there were fewer anglers, the season was the club’s third best in the number of fish caught. The total number of fish caught was 184=, compared with 80 last season. The most; successful angler was Dr G. B. Pierce, of = New York, fishing from the launch Marlin, who caught 37 swordfish and eight mako sharks.
