“WANTED” IN ENGLAND
AMERICAN STOCK PROMOTER KIDNAPPED BY ARMED MEN. CHICAGO, July 2. (Received July 3, at 0.15 a.m.) Jake Factor, a stock promoter who is “ wanted ” in England on swindling charges, was kidnapped on Saturday when he was leaving a cabaret with his family. Seven men armed with machine guns and pistols abducted him. The authorities say that no demands have yet been received, although an authoritative source reports that a member of the family received a demand for 150,000 dallors.
