The congregation, on arrival at the I’apakura Methodist Church last Sunday morning, was surprised to find, in the centre of the lawn at the church, a “No Parking" yellow disc sign, with its concrete foundation, and near it other signs, “Fruit, trees for sale,” from a local orchard, and “ Beware of poisoned fruit.” The church notice hoard had been wrenched off and put up on the local blacksmith’s shop. It was evidently the work of a gang of larrikins, and the matter is in the hands of the local police.
