CLAIM FOR DAMAGES
THE PLAINTIFF NONSUITED (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, June 30. On the ground that she had failed to discharge her onus to prove that the defenjdant company’s negligence caused tlie accident, Mr Justice Ostler nonsuited Gertrude Laura Cresswell, who claimed £3265 damages from the Dominion Farmers’ Institute, Ltd., as the result of a severe injury received when in the employ of the company. Mrs Cresswell tell down some steep steps adjacent to tlie kitchen of the tea-rooms, of winch she was manageress, in the Dominion Eaimcis Institute’s building.
