JEWISH LEADER ASSASSINATED THE MURDERERS ESCAPE (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) JERUSALEM, June 18. Dr Chaim Arlosoroff, leader of the Palestine Jews, was assassinated while walking with his wife at Tel Aviv. The murderers were dressed in European clothes. One flashed a torch in the doctor’s eyes and fired three times, while the wife screamed for help. The Government has offered £SOO reward for the capture of the assassins. The Jewish Agency has added £IOOO. - Dr Arlosoroff had just returned from Germany, where he was investigating the Nazi treatment of Jews.
