LADIES’ GOLF. MID-CANTERBURY CHAMPIONSHIP. (Peg United Press Association.) ASHBURTON. June 8. The first Mid-Canterbury Ladies’ Golf Championship was decided to-day, Miss J. Harwell (Timaru) winning the senior title with a score of 80, 88 —168. Miss Bendel (Christchurch) was second, her figures being 81, 89 —170. Mrs J. T. Smith (Ashburton) won the junior title with a score of 100, 99 —199, Miss Brown (Ashburton) being second with 108, 92 —200.
