The Rev. D. 0. Herron -will preach at Knox Church to-morrow morning. In the evening the annual Hospital Day service will be held. The address will be given by Dr J. B. Dawson, and Mr J. Renfrew White will also take part. The Rev. W. Allen Stevely will conduct the services at First _ Church tomorrow (Mothers’ Day). His sufajccr in the morning will be “A Picture of Divine Love,” and in the evening In Praise of Mothers.” Dr V. E. Galway wnl be at the organ. , . The Rev. Leslie B. Neale will conduct the morning and evening services at the Methodist Central Mission to-morrow. At 2.30 p.m. in the Octagon Hall members of the Maori Choir will render melodies, etc. At 6.30 the Mayor and councillors will parade. Mr Neale will take a s his subject at this service “To-day and lomorrow/* The soloists will be Miss Mabel Wood, of Christchurch, and Mies Tui Salt. ... . . w At 3 p.m. to-morrow Adjutant H. Coombs will conduct a Mothers’ Day service at the Salvation Army Dowling Street Fortress. Parents are invited to attend. The Sunday school children wnl render a programme. Mrs. Adjutant Thomas will be the speaker at the 11 a.m. service, and Adjutant Thomas will speak at the 7 p.m. meeting. A Mothers’ Day service will be conducted at the Hanover Street Baptist Church to-morrow evening by the Rev. E S. Tuckwell. and the service will be broadcast by 4YA. The anthem will be “0 Lord God. When Thou t Appeared. Mr Tuckwell will also preach in the moruAt the Theosophical Hall to-morrow evening Miss E. Starkey will speak on “Divine Justice and Reincarnation.’ To-morrow will be observed as Home and Maori Mission Sunday at Trinity Methodist Church, Stuart street. The Rev. H. E, Bellhouse will be the preacher in the morning, and he will make reference during the service to the late Mr H. Frapwell. In the evening a choral service will be conducted by the Maori Mission Choir now visiting the city. Maori hymns and chants will be sung, and a solo will be rendered by the Chatham Island singer. The unveiling of a memorial to tjie late Mr James H. Wilkinson will take place at the morning service at the united Congregational Church to-morrow, and all interested are invited to be present. The evening service will be the first or a monthly series to be conducted by the Rev. James M. Smeeth specially for young men and women. Miss Mavis Johnston will be the solo vocalist, and Mr A. J. Phillips will play a cello S °First Church of Christ Scientist will conduct services in Allbell Chambers, 154 Stuart street, to-morrow. The subject for the morning and evening services will be “Mortals and Immortals.” Mothers’ Day will be observed at the St. Hilda Methodist Church to-morrow. The Rev. Percy Paris will preach in the morning on ''The Extravagance of a Woman's Love," and in, the evening on “ Jesus and a Foreign Mother.’ Members of the young women’s Bible class will take part in the evening service at 7.45 p.m. There will be a social hour ana supper in the schoolroom. To-morrow a series of special services will be commenced at St. Stephen’s Church by Mr Andrew Johnston, the olind soldier evangelist. He will preach botn morning and evening, and also on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. At York Place Hall to-morrow evening Mr H. W. Brohn. who has served as a missionary in Trans-Jordania, win be the preacher, his subject being A Personal Testimony,” . , At the Moray Place Congregational Church to-morrow, the Rev. Albert Mead will conduct the sendees. The subject of his evening address will be Christian Self-giving—the Giving of Money,” The choir will render the anthem “Comes at Times,” and Miss Doris Haworth will sing “The Vesper Hymn.” At evensong at AH Saints’ Church tomorrow evening Madame Goweivßurns will sing “Hear Ye Israel,” from the “ Elijah.”
