The semi-finals of the Dominion junior hard-court lawn tennis championships resulted as follows: — Boys' Singles.—Gunn (Auckland) beat Morrison (Wellington) 6 —4, 0—0; Stevens (Auckland) beat Mayson (Auckland) 4—6, 6—2, B—6. Girls' Singles.—Miss Beverley (Waikato) beat Miss Senior (Canterbury) 6—2, 6—l; Miss Sullivan (South Canterbury) beat Miss Small (Wellington) 6—l, 2—6, 6—3. Boys' Doubles.—Stevens and Gunn (Auckland) beat Rossiter and M'Gregor (Canterbury) 6—l, 6—3; Corich and Penfold (Canterbury) beat Morrison (Wellington) and Skinner (Otago) 6 —4, 6 —3. Girls' Doubles. —Misses Dickens and Senior (Canterbury) beat Misses Beverley and Aicken (Waikato) 6—2, 6—5; Misses Wright and Smith (Canterbury) beat Misses Bishop and Bishop 5—6, 6 —3, 6—2.
