CLUB'S SURPRISE LEGACY

A number of surprise bequests 'are made in the will of Miss Frances Wild, of Otlev, who lived by herself in a little draper's shop at Otley, Yorkshire. Her will has been proved at £4478. Probably the most remarkable is £IOO to the Otley Rugby Union Football Club. "The reason for- the bequest is a mystery," says the treasurer, Mr J. W. Warburton, " So far as we know she never saw" a match."
