The conditions were very cold early on Saturday morning, frost being experienced in the suburbs. WELLINGTON, April 30. The weather was fine over the weekend. On both Saturday and to-day there was sunshine and passing clouds with a northerly wind that fell away this afternoon. CHRISTCHURCH, April 30. The weather over the week-end was dull but warm, the wind being from, the north-west. The barometer had little movement and registered 30.00 at 5 p.m. to-day.
