FOURSOME CHAMPIONSHIP (I’eh United .I’bess Association. i WELLINGTON, April 27. The Ladies’ Golf Union Foursome Championship was continued to-day in ideal weather. The semi-finals will be played to-morrow, when Mrs Foreman and Mrs D. Wilson (Miramar) will meet Miss Culling and Miss Eathbone (Auckland), and Mrs Banks and Mrs Richmond (Miramar) will meet Miss Chrystall (Christchurch) and Miss Borton (Wellington). Results: — Third Round. Mrs Foreman and Mrs I). Wilson (owe 10) beat. Mrs Day and Mrs Thomson 5 and 4. Mrs Dalgleish and Miss Hanson (owe 3) beat Mrs Tweed and Mrs Seddon 1 up. Misses Culling and Rathbone (owe 2) beat Mrs Dodgshun and Miss Peacock 3 and 2. Mrs and Miss Williams (owe 2) beats Mrs Sutherland and Mrs Ward 8 and 6. Mrs Banks and Mrs Richmond (playing level) beat Mrs Peacock and Mrs Wclton-Hogg 1 up at the nineteenth. The Misses Macfarlane (receive 2) beat Misses C. Young and P. Blundell 7 and 6. . Miss Chrystall and Miss Borton (receive 1) beat Mrs Wilson and Mrs Buttle 1 up at the nineteenth. Mrs Blain and Mrs Partridge (owe 0) beat Mrs Robertson and Miss E. West 4 and 2. Fourth Round. Mrs Foreman and Mrs Wilson (owe 3) beat Mrs Dalgleish and Miss Hanson 1 up. Miss Culling and Miss Eathbone (owe 2) beat Mrs Guy Williams and Miss Joan Williams 3 and 2.
