GOOD TEMPLARY
The weekly meeting of the Radiant Morn Temple was held on Saturday evening in the Methodist Hall, Mornington, when the Chief Templar presided, _ with a full complement of officers. An interesting and memorable Anzac service waa held. Sisters Fraser, Sutherland, and Burgess and Bro. Andrews taking an active part. The meeting closed with prayer. Superintendent Bro. W. lies was id charge. • The Hope of Caversham Lodge, 1.0.G.T., held its weekly session in Baxter HaU on Thursday evening, when Bro. Seque, C.T., presided over an excellent attendance of members. Visitors were present from the Star of Freedom, Hope of Dunedin, and Rescue Lodges. The District Executive paid an official visit to the lodge, the object of the visit being to stimulate the fraternal feeling among the lodges and also the work of the Order. After supper had been served the following programme was carried out:—Recitation, Bro. Wilson; song, Sis. Wilson; surprise packet, Sis. Paul; song, Sis. Page; competition. Sis. Wilson; song. Sis. I. Leishmann. Songs were also rendered by Bro. E. lies, D.C.T., and Mr Hallis. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded Sis. Wilson for the pro* gramme, and the visitors. _ The weekly meeting of All Nations Lodge was held on Thursday, C.T. Sis. C. Matheson presiding over a small attendance of members. A discussion took place during the evening in the lodge to see what steps could be taken in regard to Sunday drinking in Port Chalmers. On the motion of Bro. W. Campbell, it was suggested that members should pay Pride of Waitati Lodge a visit on some future date to give a helping hand. Sisters Mrs Campbell and M'Cormack were in charge of tlie programme after recess, which took the form of Easter eggs, and a competition, prizes being awarded. _ The weekly meeting of the Silver Star Juvenile Temple was held on Wednesday evening. Bro. H. Stevenson, in the absence of the C.T., was in the chair, Sis. Rayner, superintendent, being in charge. Three candidates were nominated and duly initiated into membership. _ Sis. Black was presented with a prize for bringing the most members during the time the superintendent was away on holiday, the prize being presented by the superintendent. The superintendent and assistant-superin-tendent were welcomed back from their holiday. Bro. Williams was thanked for taking charge of the temple during the superintendent’s absence. The superintendent then gave a very interesting account of her trip through Central Otago. There was a good attendance of members present. The temple held its annual picnic at Brighton on Monday, when a large number of members attended.
