Reported to have reached Colon on March 27, the Federal Line steamer Norfolk la en route from Falmouth to New Zealand to load. The vessel is in ballast, and will load at Lyttelton, Bluff, Port Chalmers, Wellington, New Plymouth, and Auckland. THE ROTORUA. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Rotorua, which left Wellington on March 10 for London, arrived at Balboa on April 1 and sailed from Colon on April 2. RUAHINE FROM LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Ruahine, which sailed from London on March 16, left Curacao on April 1. The vessel Is due at Wellington on May 3, and is expected to reach Port Chalmers the following day. HUNTINGDON LOADING. Tlie Federal Line steamer Huntingdon, which has been loading at North Island ports, will sail finally from Wellington on April 25 for London, via Montevideo and Rio de Janeiro, after completing at Gisborne, Napier, Lyttelton and Bluff. WAIHEMO UNLOADING. The Union Company’s steamer Walherao arrived at Auckland on Thursday from Los Angeles and other Pacific Coast ports to commence discharge of her timber, newsprint and general cargo. The vessel, which left Los Angeles on March 5, experienced fair weather on the voyage. She sailed on Friday for Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australia to complete unloading. The vessel is due at this port on Saturday, and will sail the same day for Melbourne and Sydney. NOTICE TO MARINERS. The Marine Department advises that a light buoy has been established In the Napier approach. PERSONAL ITEM. A former commander of the New Zealand naval training vessel Wakakura, who became commander of Nelson’s ship, H.M.S. Victory, Lieutenant Henry Frank Edwards, died at Haslar, near Portsmouth, last month. He had been due to retire on pension this month at the age of 50. Lieutenant Edwards joined the Navy in 1898 and was promoted gunner In 1910. During the war he was navigating officer on H.M.S.
