CHRISTCHURCH FIGURES.

(Pee United Press association.) CHRISTCHURCH, March 31. An in mease of £85,480 is shown in the Customs revenue collected at Christchurch for the financial year 1932-33 as compared with 1931-32, The motor spirit tax showed a, reduction of £26,921, beer duty decreased by £5349, and tyre duty by £2551. AUCKLAND FIGURES. CPeb United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, March 31. The Auckland Customs duties for the financial year ended to-day show an increase of £29,942. The revenue from motor spirit is down by £25,813 and that from tyres £6597, but the total from the three sources shows an increase of £267 032. The figures for the year arc as follows:—Customs, £2,004.032; spirit, .£466,450; tyres, £22,537 —total, £2,493,019. The customs revenue for March was £173,281 compared with £157,862. Petrol and tyres totalled £41,103 compared with £42,358.
