ST. CLAIR GIRL GUIDES

A BRIGHT CONCERT. A bright 4md entertaining concert in aid of the funds of the. St. Clair Girl Guides’ Troop was held in the St. Clair Presbyterian Hall last night before a fair attendance. The programme presented was of the most diversified and captivating character, and the audience was not slow to respond to the efforts, of the performers. The first half was in the form of a nigger minstrel show, which was provided by members of the St. Clair Boy Scout Troop, prominent parts being taken by Scouts Rodgerson, Harbison, Jacobs, and Dampen. During the second half solos were given by Mrs D. Barton, Miss Isa Duff, and Mr A. W. Jeavons, a monologue by Mrs Withers, and humorous recitations by Misses Anita Winkel and Ngata Buswell. The accompanist was Mrs Barton.
