RAVENSBOURNE BOATING CLUB

Last Saturday afternoon the Ravensbourne Boating Club held the first race for Mr T. Cuthbert’s cup (the Cuthbort Cup). A field of 10 starters faced the gun, and made a very fine picture. The winner proved to bo Mr M. Lanham’s Rascal, sailed by the well-known veteran yachtsman, A. Booth. Rascal is one of the V-bottom type of boats. She is 14 feet long, and proved herself to be fast off the' wind. The winner of the second place trophy was Shadow, sailed by N. Truenu
