IMPORTS AND EXPORTS COMPARATIVE FIGURES. {Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, March 17. The overseas trade figures for the Dominion for February, .1 OSS') - with the returns for the corresponding month of last year in parentheses, are:— Exports from New Zealand, £3,755,281 (£4,434,627) ; imports, £1,600,307 (£1,804,492); and for two months ended February, 1933 —exports £8,047,709 (£7,817,133); imports £3,685,828 (£3,977,244). The values recorded for exports are the declared f.o.b. values in terms of New Zealand currency, while the values recorded for imports are the current domestic values in the countries of export, plus 10 per cent, if the recorded value of the imports were converted to the equivalent New Zealand currency. The excess of exports over imports (excluding special imported or exported) for the two months ended February, 1933, is about £3,282,000.
