OTAGO REGIMENT CONCERT

Army life is full of its humours, conscious and unconscious, which make ideal material for stage performance. The concert which will ho presented by the Otago Regiment in the Town Hall Concert 0 Chamber on Tuesday evening promises to be something unusual in the entertainment line. The ranks of the regiment contain some excellent comedians and songsters. These will be supported by the military band, which enjoys a wide popularity at the present moment. A fanfare of trumpets by the bugle and trumpet band will be an interesting number, and an outstanding novelty is offered in a waltz played by this band. An assisting item of great interest will he performed by a party from H.M.S. Diomede. The ability of the sailors to entertain is well known in Dunedin. In addition Miss Shirley M'Clatchy will render some of her tap-dancing numbers. The concert is in aid of the regimental funds.
