HAKATARAMEA SPORTS

The picnic and sports, under the auspices of the Hakataramea Sports Committee, were held at Rocky Point under ideal weather conditions. A length}' pro-, gramme of events was run off, and the various races were keenly contested, some good performances being witnessed. The day proved an outstanding success, and in the evening a dance was held in a barn kindly given by Messrs Hogg Bros, for the occasion. Excellent music was supplied by Mrs Stanley Ashby, of the Hakataramea Station.
