LORD NELSON RELICS

BOUGHT FOR THE NATION Th* telescope used by Lord Nelson at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805, together with many other relic* of the great admiral, and a few souvenirs, of Emma Lady Hamilton and Captain Thomas Hatdy* were sold at Mewra €hrntirß in December. They also are now at Qrgenwich, Other of Mr Stewart’s purchases last month included two English silver watches, one engraved "Presented to Captain Horatio Nelson, R.N., on his marriage, by the crew of, H.M.S. Boms, Match 11, 1787." The other is inscribed, “H.N from C.C. Mr Stewart’s purchases amounted to £3292 IPs.
