GARDEN FETE A garden fete was held on Saturday afternoon in the convent school grounds in aid of the Catholic Church fund. One of the features of the fete was the Maypole and other dances, performed by the children attending the convent school. Excellent business was done by those in charge of the various stalls. An orchestra was in attendance, under the direction of Miss V. Malone and Messrs F. and C. Ives. The fete was a great success. The Rev. Father Monaghan expressed his thanks to all who had assisted to make the fete such a success.
