SINKING FUNDS
INVESTMENT WITH PUBLIC TRUSTEE PROTEST AGAINST PROPOSED LEGISLATION. (Per United Press Association.) GISBORNE, October 13. The Poverty Bay Power Board decided to protest against the proposed legislation regarding sinking funds invested with the public Trustee, and to see that the rights accruing to it by action already taken should not now be withdrawn by Parliament. The board recently set up commissioners to handle locally the investment of its trust funds.
