RETURNS FOR SEPTEMBER PRINCIPAL DECREASES, LONDON, October 12. The Board of Trade returns for September have been issued. The total imports, for September were £54,266,000; the total exports £20,228,000, and the re-exports £2,901,000. The principal decreases were:—lmports —Grain and flour, £739,000; meat, £914,000; animals for food, £957,000; wood and timber, £692,000; iron and steel and manufactures thereof, £967,000; cotton yarns manufactures, £697,000; woollen ditto, £1,150,000; apparel, ,£1,383,000; vehicles, £606,000. Exports—Coal, £604,000; ' vehicles, £969,000. Increases: • Imports —Raw cotton, . £959,000. Exports —Cotton yarns manufactures, £660,000.
