A NATURAL DEATH VICTIM OF PNEUMONIA. NEW YORK, October 9. Frank M’Erlane, Chicago’s cruellest killer, and the inventor of the “ oneway ride,” died of pneumonia. He is the first of the city’s major gangsters to die a natural death.
