(Received Oct. 10, at 10.30 p.m.) The Y.R.C. stipendiary stewards concluded an inquiry into the handling of Walter Scott in the Oby Hurdle Race on Saturday. The stewards disqualified H. Thompson for five years for a dishonourable action and improper conduct. Thompson is appealing. The owner (Mr Shillabeer) and trainer (E. Fisher) were entirely exonerated. Thompson is an exNew Zealander. NEW ZEALAND TRAINERS SEVERAL RETURNING. SYDNEY, October 10.
