The installation is an adaptation of the new "electric carillon’' developed?.by R.0.A.-Victor Company engineers. Seated, at the keyboard in a chapel 1000 feet from the tower, the carillqp player depresses keys. As the keys are struck, tiny hammers strike'tunedmetal reeda. Their tones,’magnified electrically by a powerful amplifier,-are projected through a loud-speaker system in tie tower. The player may hear himself play by the us* of a small loud-speaker system in the chapel.
