Yorkshire has now made certain of winning the county cricket championship for the second' year in succession. KENT BEATS ALL-INDIA. Khan not out 63) .against Sir Julian Calm’s eleven (five for 258), Maxwell made 81 and Newman (not out) 59. TEAM FOR AUSTRALIA. LONDON, August 26. Duleepsinhji is to be X-rayed, and the decision whether he goes to Australia depends on the result. It is reported that Tyldesley has been asked whether he is prepared to go to Australia, if invited, Tyldesley has had a splendid season, scoring 2278 runs, with an average of 01. The match between the Marylebone team for Australia and the Rest of England has been postponed to September 7. Lord Tennyson is going to Australia to see the tests, also for surf bathing and fishing in New Zealand. DULIiIEPSINHJI’S INTENTIONS Australian visit uncertain. LONDON, August 27. (Received August 28, at 5.5 p.m.) It is announced that Duleepsinhji will not play for the remainder of the season. No decision has been reached whether he will go to Australia.
