MR DEVEREUX’S REPORT MORE CONFIDENCE IN LONDON. LONDON, July 10. Mr W. P. Devereux (Australian woolgrowers’representative) reports: “Wellsustained consumption by Yorkshire, the encouraging result of the Lausanne Conference, and the changed financial outlook owing to the reduction in money rates in Britain all combined to bring greater confidence at . the London wool sales, which since the opening have continued active, with prices hardening.”
