The barometer continued,rising and now registers 30.30 m, WELLINGTON, July 4. After a stormy week-end the weather cleared in Wellington to-day.. The sun shone from a cloudless sky. A keen southerly wind dropped during the afternoon and the evening was calm and cloud--I'SS' CHRISTCHURCH, July 4. To-day was fine and mild with practically no wind and a shade temperature of 56 degrees. The barometer recorded 30.32 in at 5 'p.m., and was falling.
