SHOOTING ON SANCTUARY

SUBSTANTIAL FINES IMPOSED. (Per United Press Association.) WANGANUI, July 4. Geoffrey Gladstone Campbell, for shoot ing duck without a license and for shooting on Kaitoke Lake, a sanctuary, was fined £5 on each charge, with costs. The prosecution was brought by the Wanganui Acclimatisation Society, counsel stating that there had been several complaints of illicit shooting.
