(From Our Own Correspondent.) BALCLUTHA, June 14. SCHOOL'COMMITTEE ELECTION. The following School Committee has been elected, subject to confirmation by the Otago Education Board:—Messrs J. L. Gormaclt, D. G. Algie, L. Heydon, James Wood, C. R. Lewis, R. W. Gray, H. Holgate, J. M Noe, and K. W. Culbert. DISPERSAL SALE At the sale of Mr A. Prentice’s milking herd at Paretai yesterday prices on the whole were very good considering the low price ruling for butter-fat. Good cows sold at £8 10s, and the average was about £5 10s, although some cows sold as low aa £2.
