BOXING
SULLIVAN DEFEATS COSSILL. (Feu United Press Association.) ASHBURTON, Juno 14. In a heavy-weight professional contest Billy Sullivan (Hastings), 12.2, beat Jack Cossill (Palmerston North), 12.0, on a technical kncok-out in the twelfth of a 15-round bout. Sullivan’s greater experience and his powerful right won the tight for him. Cossill was very fast on his feet, and put up a game fight.
