The weather in Wellington to-day was again fine; sunshine with passing clouds. A light northerly wind was blowing. CHRISTCHURCH, May 20. To-day was sunny and bright, with a variable wind and a shade temperature of 54deg. The barometer', dropped to 29.97 in, and became steady.
