GERMANS’ LUCKY ESCAPE FIVE OTHERS DROWNED. BERLIN, May 17. ■ While praying iu a church at Gael (near Coblenz) 25 people were trapped by flood waters following a cloudburst, which extensively damaged Rhineland. The waters had almost reached their necks when the police rescued them through the church roof. Five people were drowned in the same village.
